We are excited to announce that KCN Campgrounds has acquired the Coloma / St. Joseph KOA Holiday in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The acquisition marks KCN Campgrounds’ first location in Michigan and expands our portfolio to 12 KOA campgrounds across the United States.
Located just minutes from the beaches of Lake Michigan, Coloma / St. Joseph KOA Holiday has earned a reputation for outstanding hospitality, family-friendly recreation and memorable camping experiences. Since purchasing the campground in 2016, Mark and Karla Lemoine have worked alongside their team to transform it into one of the standout properties in the KOA system.
We are honored to carry that legacy forward.
A Special Destination in Southwest Michigan
Coloma / St. Joseph KOA Holiday offers 128 campsites with accommodations for many different styles of camping, including RV Sites, Tent Sites, Camping Cabins, Deluxe Cabins and rustic-chic Glamping Tents.
Guests can spend their days enjoying the heated swimming pool, jumping pillow, mini golf, gem mining, bike rentals, pickleball court, wooded nature trail and other family-friendly amenities. The campground’s Campfire Café also serves specialty coffee, pizza, wings, hand-dipped ice cream and more.
Its convenient location makes it an ideal base camp for exploring the Lake Michigan shoreline, nearby beaches, local wineries, small towns and the many attractions found throughout Southwest Michigan.

Over the past decade, Mark and Karla have invested their time, energy and hearts into building a campground where families can reconnect, enjoy the outdoors and create lasting memories. They have also been active members of the Southwest Michigan community and respected leaders within the KOA system.
We are grateful for the care they have shown this campground and for the trust they have placed in KCN Campgrounds as its next owner. We wish Mark and Karla all the best as they prepare for retirement and begin their next chapter.
